The Fraternal comprised eight Brethren namely; RW Bro. Warren Turton (WM), RW Bro. Ian Angus, RW Bro. Bob Nairn, W Bro. Graeme Moller, W Bro. Sid Penhaligon, W Bro. Warren Barsley, Bro. Roman Cholawinskyj and Bro. Russ Richards, who made the annual journey from Canberra to Sydney's inner suburbs. Commencing in 1950 with a visit from Lodge Concord Technology (then Lodge Technology) to Canberra, the arrangment has been that the Sydney Lodge visits Canberra in one year and Lodge Commonwealth visits Sydney in the next, at which time the Chain of Friendship is transferred. In addition, the WMs of the two Lodges, accompanied by some of their Officers and brethren, visit each other at Installation and the visiting Master participates in the ceremony. The Chain of Friendship, or 'Technology-Commonwealth Chain', is made up of inscribed links commemorating each visit. The Chain is exchanged between the WMs of each Lodge on the annual visits and each Lodge has a specially made small box to hold the Chain while in its care. The Chain was last displayed on the occasion of the re-installation of RW Bro. Warren Turton as Lodge Commonwealth's Master in December 2008 where it was ceremoniously featured on the WM's pedestal during the Installation ceremony.
